Land Acknowledgement
In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge that the land on which our programs gather is the traditional territory of the Wendat, the Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, Métis, and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.
It is now home to a diverse population, but we respect and acknowledge the First Nation, Inuit and Métis communities who have taken care of this land for many generations. We stand in solidarity and support of all peoples seeking equality and inclusion.

Land Acknowledgement
In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge that the land on which our programs gather is in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship” which Mi’kmaq Wəlastəkwiyikand Passamaquoddy Peoples first signed with the British Crown in 1726. The treaties did not deal with surrender of lands and resources but in fact recognized Mi’kmaq and Wəlastəkwiyik title and established the rules for what was to be an ongoing relationship between Nations.
