NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
NPower Canada offers free (no cost) tech-training employment programs and IT certifications in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Québec, Manitoba*, and Nova Scotia for Canadian job-seekers.
Applications are considered on a rolling basis.
*Please note that we are accepting applications from outside Winnipeg, including Selkirk, Brandon and Northern Manitoba.
How It Works
We believe that our work is not just about securing a job for our graduates, but to foster a lifetime of learning and earning. Here’s what to expect when you apply today.
Complete an online application
After a short pre-screening application, complete the full application for one of our core programs and our Admissions Team will email you directly.
If you are a JDA applicant, complete your assessment
As the JDA (Junior Data Analyst) program is a more advanced program, if you meet the basic eligibility criteria, JDA applicants will be asked to complete a technical assessment. This supports us in gauging your technical skills to ensure the JDA program is right for you!
Participate in a virtual interview
Once submitted, if you meet our basic eligibility criteria you will be invited to an interview with a member of our Admissions Team. The final decision of your application will be shared after the interview.
*Eligible Ontario and Alberta applications will include a voluntary consent form for an upcoming research study (or randomized control trial – RCT).
Receive an offer to attend the program
After you have completed an interview, the Admissions Team will review your full file. This includes your application, assessment/questionnaire, and interview. If you successfully pass all phases of the screening you will be sent an offer of admittance into the program!
*In Alberta and Ontario, due to overwhelming demand for our programs, we have many more applicants than available seats. To ensure fairness, we use a computerized lottery system to randomly allocate available program seats to qualified applicants. This lottery system also supports a research study that NPower Canada is conducting to measure the long-term effectiveness of our programs. Successfully completing the Admissions processes does not guarantee admittance into the program.
Start the online program
Once admitted, get ready to learn technical skills, earn certificates, and support your professional development that will help launch your Digital career.
Upon successful completion of our program, we will help you land a full-time job as the first step on your Tech career journey and successful future!
Disclaimer
In many regions we receive more applications then we have seats available. As a result you may not be considered for the cohort you are applying for and may be placed on a waiting list until seats become available.
