Raising Voices Program

NPower Canada is excited to partner with Jelly Academy to provide scholarships for Indigenous Canadians residing in one of the cities listed below, for Jelly Academy’s 7-week Digital Marketing Course. These scholarships will help interested Indigenous Canadians acquire digital marketing training and continue to advance in their careers.

We are also thrilled to announce that upon successfully completing this course, graduates will have the incredible opportunity to embark on apprenticeships with one of our employment partners. We believe this hands-on experience is an integral part of the program, and it is essential that you are available for this exciting employment opportunity to be considered for the training.

About the Course:

This Canadian digital marketing course covers social media, public relations, SEO, Google Ads & Analytics, Facebook & Instagram Ads, and Email Marketing all taught by industry experts. This course will set you up for marketing success whether you’re launching a new business, upgrading your skills to amplify your company’s marketing efforts, or building up your resumé to stand out on your next job application. You’ll also walk away with 11 industry recognized credentials through Google, Meta, Hootsuite and more, and gain access to templates and resources developed by industry experts and some of the most reputable marketing brands to continue to develop your knowledge and skills.

The course covers 7 areas of digital marketing and PR. Sessions include:

  • Session 1: Social Media
  • Session 2: SEO
  • Session 3: Google Ads
  • Session 4: Facebook and Instagram Ads
  • Session 5: Google Analytics
  • Session 6: Public Relations
  • Session 7: Email Marketing and Automation

Course & Scholarship Details:

  • Scholarships will cover all tuition costs for applicants accepted into Jelly Academy’s Digital Marketing course.
  • Not only will scholarship recipients undergo seven weeks of immersive live digital marketing training spearheaded by Jelly Academy, but they will also benefit from weekly sessions focused on hands-on Professional Development training, led by NPower Canada. This comprehensive program is specifically designed to enhance employment readiness and equip participants with the necessary skills to excel in the apprenticeship opportunities that lie ahead.
  • The program is currently closed at this time. 
  • Attendance is required for each session.

Apprenticeship Details

  • Upon graduation you must be available to complete a one-year apprenticeship with one of our employment partners.

To be eligible for a Jelly Academy Scholarship you must:

  • Be 18-34 years of age
  • Be an Indigenous Canadian
  • Be a resident in one of these areas:  
    • Ontario: Greater Toronto Area 
    • Alberta: Calgary & Edmonton 
    • British Columbia: Vancouver 
    • Nova Scotia: Halifax 
    • Quebec: Montreal (Must be fully bilingual) 
    • Manitoba: Winnipeg 
  • Have a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Have a strong motivation to work and learn
  • Have basic computer skills (internet, email)
  • Have access to a computer with a working microphone and camera
