Sudha R. – Ontario – Junior IT Analyst – September 2022 Graduate
Prior to graduating from NPower Canada, Sudha had to juggle two jobs to make enough money for herself and her family. With a young child to take care of, Sudha had to accept low-paying jobs to make ends meet, unable to find a more sustainable career.
Despite her busy schedule, when Sudha heard about NPower Canada, she had to apply. Her employers at Toronto Pearson International Airport told Sudha about the opportunity, knowing her ambition. Sudha enrolled in our Junior IT Analyst program, and even with her tight job schedule and family commitments, she excelled in the program thanks to her dedication and great philosophy on education:
“Education is one of the greatest assets one can possess. It will never be wasted, and age is not a limit for education. Be up-to-date with tech skills in today’s world, and the world will be yours,” Sudha shared.
After completing our program, Sudha attended an interview with Air Canada. “I had attended Air Canada job interviews at least six times before NPower Canada, and I never got hired. This time, I used the resume modified by NPower Canada, and employed the interview techniques they taught us, which is what helped me land the role this time,” Sudha said.
Sudha is now employed as a Customer Services and Sales representative, and is completing another micro-credential to help her upskill. We are so proud of Sudha and the wonderful role model she is, showing that you’re never too late – or too busy – to make a change to better your future.
