Skillsonline NS

SkillsonlineNS is a partnership between Nova Scotia’s Department of Labour and Advanced Education, CBDC & Bluedrop that gives every resident of the province access to thousands of FREE online courses on the most important workplace topics to improve their skills and career prospects.

Employment Development Center

Since 2003 the Employment Development Centre has provided employment enhancement services to unemployed individuals facing multiple barriers to employment in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality.

Futureworx

Futureworx offers short-term (30 +hours) to longer-term (2 to 6 months) training programs to assist unemployed individuals who have had difficulty successfully participating in today’s labour force.

Nova Scotia Works

Nova Scotia Works is a one-stop job search and career planning resource with over 50 locations. Complete an intake online and get started with a Case Manager dedicated to helping you find employment & other resources.
