Hani A. – Ontario – Junior IT Analyst – December 2021 Graduate
Prior to joining NPower Canada, Hani had worked in customer service and retail, but the pandemic limited the opportunities available to her. Hani was left unemployed and unsure what to do next. She knew she wanted to move into a new field, and had recently grown a passion and curiosity for tech, but wasn’t sure how to get her foot in the door.
The YMCA of Greater Toronto referred Hani to NPower Canada and couldn’t believe that she could get the training she needed at no cost. She enrolled in our Junior IT Analyst and learned new technical concepts and skills. Hani also learned a lot from the professional development sessions.
“NPower Canada helped me overcome the hurdles I was facing by helping me learn important skills such as time management, how to write a great cover letter, and what a good resume consists of,” Hani said.
After graduating from our program, Hani was able to land her first tech role with Staffy, which she attributes to the interview skills she was taught during the program. She also enrolled in our Google Project Management, eager to continue learning and expanding her skillset. We can’t wait to see Hani progress throughout her career journey!
