Sammy – Ontario – Manager, Salesforce Business Group at Accenture – 2025
Before joining NPower Canada’s IT Analyst program in 2016, Sammy was stuck working in survival jobs, facing housing instability and did not have any post-secondary education. These barriers made it extremely difficult to secure long-term employment despite his persistence, it just seemed out of reach.
However, everything started to change when Sammy applied to NPower Canada. “The program gave me more than just technical skills: It gave me hope.” Sammy explained.
Through NPower Canada, Sammy graduated with job-ready certifications and practical skills, needed for the workforce. “NPower Canada didn’t just give me tools for a career, the organization gave me the confidence to rewrite my story” he shared.
After graduating, Sammy felt confident in his career search. With the support from NPower Canada’s career services team, he landed an associate role at Accenture. Fast forward to today, eight years later, Sammy is a Salesforce Business Group Manager at the same company.
Reflecting on his journey, Sammy thanks NPower Canada and Accenture for their support. “Both organizations have given me stability, purpose, and the chance to build a life I’m proud of,” he shared.
