Dahbia M. – Quebec – Junior IT Analyst – 2024
When Dahbia needed to return to work after taking a few years off to care for her family, she faced unexpected challenges. Despite her previous experience in the tech industry she found herself encountering roadblocks that made her realize she needed to refresh her skills and update her resume. Feeling uncertain on next steps, Dahbia turned to LinkedIn when she stumbled upon NPower Canada’s programs.
When Dahbia was on her LinkedIn job search, she stumbled upon NPower Canada’s programs and immediately applied. “I seized the opportunity to start from scratch,” shared Dahbia, recalling how she immediately applied to the Junior IT Analyst Program. She looked forward to learning all she could about the current tech industry and job market. “The program proved to be comprehensive…I would acquire new knowledge in just three months,” she continued.
During the Junior IT Analyst program, Dahbia felt encouraged to keep her head up, even during times of challenge. The community she found at NPower Canada offered “constant encouragement and support.” Dahbia reflected, “Thanks to them, I was motivated to persevere. I learned how to effectively approach my resume and job interviews with ease.”
Dahbia began her job search with her Google certificate and a newfound sense of hope.“I’m actively looking for a job in the IT field.. I’m confident that I’ll find a position where I can flourish soon,” she shared.
Dahbia graduated from NPower Canada’s Junior IT Analyst program and she shared her journey as the representative of Quebec at our national graduation ceremony which took place on July 10, 2024.
