After careful consideration, NPower Canada is pleased to announce that we have selected a new Chief Operating Officer to succeed Andrew Reddin. Nisha Lewis has been appointed to help lead the organization through our next exciting chapter, beginning today, March 20, 2023. As Chief Operating Officer, Nisha will be responsible for the overall programs and services of NPower Canada, and help to further implement our strategic vision.
“Nisha is an invaluable team member who has performed at a consistently high level, earning the respect of our team members and partners, and demonstrating a high commitment to our organizational values”, says CEO Julia Blackburn. “She is always seeking to build new partnerships, help more people and look for innovative and practical ways of doing so, which is why I’m excited to have her as our new COO.”
During her time at NPower Canada, Nisha has led the Marketing and Communication team during a pivotal time of expansion, growing NPower Canada’s national brand profile, marketing strategy, digital presence and public relations as the organization has expanded across the country. Nisha has worked collaboratively with all teams and stakeholders, providing her with insights into multiple perspectives that will benefit her in this new role.
Nisha began her career in Marketing and Public Relations, progressing in various leadership roles with Canadian non-profits, including the Canadian Mental Health Association (CHMA) Peel Dufferin, Girl Guides of Canada, the Canadian Opera Company, and most recently, with NPower Canada. Throughout her career she has employed skillful communications on both a national and international level to ensure internal and external stakeholders understood and supported each organization’s visions and goals.
Throughout her career, Nisha has also volunteered for organizations committed to helping vulnerable populations, which has provided her a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by underserved groups.
