“One of the most important things that NPower Canada did was help me to find my way. Now, I know what I want to do. The program also helped me to improve my confidence, and I am excited to start my career in IT,” said Kabir.
Kabir arrived in Canada in 2022 as a refugee from Turkey, looking for a safer place with more opportunities. Kabir had always been interested in working in tech, but didn’t know how to get his foot in the door. Without Canadian experience or IT certifications, Kabir was struggling to find work. He was beginning to face significant financial challenges, and wasn’t sure what to do next.
Kabir found NPower Canada on LinkedIn, and immediately applied. The Junior IT Analyst program helped him learn foundational tech skills and earn in-demand industry certifications.
“NPower Canada was a good place to start my career in this industry, and the amazing instructors taught me so much more about IT,” Kabir shared.
Kabir graduated from the program in June and found employment as an IT Support Technician at Toronto Cabling Solutions.
