Offert en partenariat avec Google, notre programme dirigé par un·e instructeur·trice permet aux participant·e·s d’acquérir des compétences et de connaissances numériques et technologiques de pointe et les plus récentes. Les diplômé·e·s de ce programme recevront le certificat « Google IT Support Professional ». Vous n’avez pas besoin de connaissances préalables en informatique pour vous inscrire à ce programme. Vous acquerrez des compétences recherchées qui vous permettront de trouver un emploi en moins de six mois. Le programme d’analyste débutant en technologies de l’information est fait pour vous si vous aimez résoudre des problèmes, apprendre de nouveaux outils et aider les autres.

Grâce au soutien généreux de Google, NPower Canada est heureux de pouvoir offrir gratuitement un large éventail de programmes de certificats de carrière Google. What you'll learn:

  • Skills required to succeed in an entry-level IT job.
  • IT support tasks including computer assembly, wireless networking and installing programs
  • How to provide end-to-end customer support ranging from identifying problems to troubleshooting and debugging.
  • Different operating systems like Linux and Open Lab.

Program details:

  • This program is offered three times per year.
  • This program is offered in English in all 5 available provinces and in French to Quebec residents
  • The next session runs from:
    • September 12 to December 23, 2022 (Ontario and Alberta)
    • September 19 to December 23, 2022 (British Columbia and Nova Scotia)
    • November 7, 2022 to February 17, 2023 – December break included (Quebec
  • This program is offered to residents of:
    • Alberta
    • British Columbia 
    • Nova Scotia 
    • Ontario – Cambridge, Greater Toronto Area, Kingston, Kitchener, Hamilton, London, Waterloo, and Windsor
    • Quebec (Starts November 2022) – Montréal, Laval, North Shore, South Shore, Montérégie, Gatineau, Sherbrooke and Québec City
  • The program runs for 3 months, Monday to Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. local time. 

Eligibility requirements:

  • You are a Canadian job seeker.
  • You have a high school diploma or GED from a recognized Canadian or international educational institution.
  • You have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN).
  • If you are a Work Permit holder, it must be valid for at least one year after the program start date and be eligible to work full-time in Canada. 
  • You are unemployed, under-employed, or facing financial challenges and barriers to employment.
  • You have advanced English or French* language skills, level 7 and above, including speaking, reading, writing, and understanding. (*French programs are only currently available to Quebec residents.)
  • You demonstrate a strong motivation to work and to learn.
  • NPower Canada encourages applicants from the following groups: women, Black, Indigenous, People of Colour (BIPOC), LGBTQ2S+Trans+ and gender diverse people, young adults with disabilities, and newcomers (immigrants and refugees).
  • You are a resident of Alberta, British Columbia, Nova Scotia, Ontario, or Quebec.
*Eligible Alberta and Ontario applicants are asked to complete a voluntary consent form for an upcoming research study and will have their seat determined by a lottery. Completing the consent form will not impact the lottery decision, which is done through a computerized system that will randomly allocate available program seats to qualified applicants.
